Office Simulation - Silver Bay House_SAOTA

PROJECT BRIEF:

The aim of this project is to simulate an office scenario. The second year (DSW2121) students will be placed in groups of 3 and will perform their duties under the supervision of a BTech (DKD4011) student. Each “office” will be required to prepare a full set of drawings for their chosen residential building. The building must be a contemporary South African residential design.

MATERIALS:

Your project leader (B-Tech student) will have full control over the project and will allocate the work, make all the important decisions, crit all the students in his “office” as well as evaluate the work. He will guide the group in doing research on materials, detailing and how to put the set of drawings together.

THE AIM OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

To prepare senior students to supervise projects in an office environment. You will be receiving the names of your group as well as their progress report. The group will consist of students with varied capabilities.
